Metroid Prime 4 incomingno
That would guarantee Switch becomes the best selling game console of all time.
Metroid could be a launch title for Switch 2, but it won't be the launch title. That'll be one of Mario/Zelda, and of course Mario Kart.Has Mario Kart ever been a launch title?
It is really a push back if the previous date wasn't real to begin with?
Has Mario Kart ever been a launch title?
Is it possible for a Mario to come out so soon? Didn't we just get Wonder? Does Mario have two teams, 2D and 3D? Zelda is almost impossible as a launch title unless they port over TotK.
It is really a push back if the previous date wasn't real to begin with? Why wouldn't it be? FF16 was planned for 2022 and delayed to 2023
I mean it technically wasn't but Mario Kart 8 Deluxe came out like a month after the Switch which is close enough to the window for me to consider it a launch title.
Nintendo really needs to pull out it's ace up the sleeve and give us a new 3D F-Zero launch game.
Dont you mean a new 1080 Snowboarding game?

do we know if Switch 2 is backwards compatablereports are it would be
I have not been keeping up
Never, in the history of anything ever, has a product had so many wrong rumors before
That I have no idea why people keep caring about this
Just wait for official announcements because those rumors mean shit
You could basically make all of the arguments youre making against Metroid against Zelda before the Switch. The key difference being that Metroid just had its best selling game ever! I think for a Metroid game Prime 4 will be huge. It would also benefit a lot from being an early or launch Switch 2 game.
Metroid's always been much more niche than pre-BotW Zelda. OoT and TP were both around the 8 million mark, which is significantly better than anything Metroid's done. Metroid Dread did as well as it did because it took advantage of the massive Switch install base but even then it wasn't able to outsell something like FE3H and nobody would think Nintendo would pull a BotW style launch with FE.Would Nintendo spend 6 years making a new FE with a massive budget? That's what MP4 is.

I highly doubt Nintendo planned for MP4 to go through the development hell that it did. I mean Skull and Bones is supposedly a "AAAA" game that took a decade of development but yet I don't know if Ubisoft is internally projecting it to be going to be one of the most successful games ever made.6 years is not counting the reboot. It's 8+ with that.

6 years is also what BotW took.
I dont think the Q4 rumours were wrong exactly, Nintendo briefed partners about a delay. Things change! No I mean
The only way MP4 could take a full 6 years is if it's open world (RIP to another series in that case). It probably just kept getting put on the backburner.it's been likened to Halo Infinite. Not quite open world, but there are huge zones to explore.
I want to live in a world where Metroid Prime 4 is the best selling game on Switch 2 and wins all the GOTYs
please?
