Anyone have two masters degrees? Question.

Lets say someone obtained an MBA in 2014 and is now looking to get a second masters degree. Depending on the field of study, there will likely be overlapping courses when reviewing the course descriptions of the 2014 degrees courses compared to the new universitys course requirements. So my question is is 10 years too long to claim same courses to waive them?Looking to expedite the second degree compared to the first.

i only have one masters degree but your best course of action is to email the registrar at the new university/universities and ask them directly. its likely not going to be a strict yes/no type policy.

theyll likely want to see like a syllabus or something for the courses to know that theyre similar enough material. If you dont have that then worst case scenario you should be able to ask to test out of the class and demonstrate that you already know the material
