Voted for Gambit. I didn't follow the cartoon, movies, or comics much. But I did play the Genesis and SNES X-Men games and Gambit is pretty prominent in those.

fourth spider-man villain may just be Carnage because people love the edgy boy

and then obviously Morbius because he has his own feature film

and then Kraven, maybe? Theres a solid b tier with him, Sandman, Vulture, Electro, etc. sinister six types. But Kraven has the most famous individual storyline of any of these guys, which I think puts him a little above them.

Yeah, I thought about Carnage, but I wondered if people associated him more with Venom than Spider-Man. Same with Kingpin being more associated with Daredevil these days.

this is maybe not indicative of anything , but on Sporcles spider-man villains quiz, the third most guessed after GG and Doc Ock (its only a villains from the early run, so no Venom or Carnage) is
