Honestly though, the biggest wtf of this entire game was MZero somehow being dayvig again in a game with SBell and I'm laughing just writing this post because it's still funny!

Anyway, Corrik said on day 4 that for me to be scum meant I was playing a nearly perfect game, but I would like to say the way we communicated was a huge help for the team overall. We bussed more day 1 than any team I've ever been on, but some of it was planned. Some key points in the game were pre-planned but they also came off naturally. I would argue the best thing I did as scum this game was actually lead the team, instead of just running it.

Food for thought for future scumteams.

Thanks for hosting, Death!

And sorry I suck at day 1, and then wasn't able to be around as much as I should've been on day 2. We had a huge thanksgiving, and then I had to put up our christmas decorations and deal with my (former) insurance company. I'd have probably continued suspecting Ben though.

Lopen's recruiter theory was kind of hilarious, especially when he figured the game out when he ignored it. Ulti played very well, and I don't think we should diminish catching JC. Might have been flavor based, but the scum team didn't seem to think they had a way out of it given they bussed him. Oh and congrats to wall and his wife for the new addition!

If we had someone actually driving for wallz I think we get him there, but I was not up to the task of full forcing that one and no one else was even seeing it at the time

Was it really wrong for the right reasons, though? Neither of us indicated a strong belief that Ifrit was scum, just that Red and Corrik weren't.

Our votes on Ifrit were just as much protecting town power as they were hoping to hit scum. The votes served their intended purpose even if they hit town.

This would normally have been a moment where I'd just have voted Corrik with 30 minutes left and called it a day. For some reason, I hesitated on doing this, and I can't tell you why. Then I lost track of time and actually froze a little. When I saw you jump on Ifrit, it instantly clicked for me that it was what I should do.

Your refusal to consider igcd on the final day (lopen and Lopen alone) made it difficult for me to consider it. In hindsight it's what we should have done, but then I don't know how we find blade on the final day

Yeah, I was way too busy to even really follow most of this game. I was a lame co-host this time and I'm sorry about that.

I'm amazed at how much Blade got away with - and good on him. He's a legend for a reason and it was awesome seeing why.

I believe you would have caught IGCD the next day the same way you caught wallz day 1 (you know, by making minimal arguments against him and waiting till day 4 to lynch for him)

The only use for humoring FD as scum/3p would be to bait Blade into over extending (since it was a huge stretch to have him as scum) but that's clearly not what you were actually doing.

I think there's too much scanning in our average setup in general, leading to the abundance of scanning blocker roles.

Limited use scanners are something that aren't uncommon in places like MU and MS, but you almost never see them here.

Good game everyone, and Blade I hope your back isnt too sore from carrying scum team.

As stated, after Ifrits mislynch on d2 Blade mapped out mzero > me > Lopen as the path to victory. If I went before mzero, my flip made mzero look a heck of a lot better. If mzero went before me, I was gonna be dead next. So even though Im not a great player by any means, I was at least proud of myself for staying alive long enough for us to secure mzeros mislynch.

Considering watcher, backup, cop and weak jailkeeper/weak tracker, scum wouldve been royally screwed if jc or myself was ninja. Having blade in that role was really valuable. Definitely learned a lot from this game.

I enjoyed this game. I had not understood Corrik would alsobe motion detector when we balanced and I'm a bit ashamed of that. We probably miscommunicated to some degree. I suggested Corrik was told he successfully used his action n1 to which Scare agreed and then Death told him Blade didn't move and that's when I learned. Other than I think it's fine. Scum felt underpowered but also had 2.5 roles they never used.

Otherwise fun. Neighborizer chat was wholesome and it's a shame it didn't last. I get frustrations playing with Lopen to some degree but the instults thrown back at him are super uncalled for and borderline crossing lines, he's pretty harmless in language and play tbh. Also might be the best person at getting reactions out of people here which are great for solving whether done by him or someone else. This was a fine game, no need to blot things out of proportion.

Blade was a very nice fresh change of pace coming back. I have felt the same about FD the few games he has been back.

Remove Corrik's role and it works. Scum did not have an EK in a game of 15 and town had too much scanning power against this.

Ultimately it never felt like a good time to show our hand and use the kidnap because it never felt it was going to change a whole lot. Kidnap is also swingy because it's only as strong as the person who gets the role.

No that's what it was already just without tracking. Though I guess vanilla doctor is misleading. Doctor that only works on non movers but does not track.

We added BG last specifically because town had to way to prevent kills aimed at power.

It does make me feel better that my other considerations (Lopen and Ifrit) were both town. Could have prevented those mislynches though

Yeah I think shooting Ifrit or me or wallz was the obvious shot there in absence of super strong scumreads since we were claimed vanillas. Sbell was unclaimed and while he wasn't could have been a scanner. At the very least you would let him post.

Between you shooting possible scanners and Peaf not bodyguarding mortally confirmed town though I feel like people weren't actually paying attention to claims that game much. Myself included at some level since I forgot Corrik scanned Ulti lol

it was a little disappointing that mzero thought my actions were those of someone trying desperately to save a scummate which was never going to be possible based on votals thus deliberately putting myself in a bad light.

Like, you just wanted to day vig me again, it's ok to say that.

(edit: disappointing because I put a lot of work into coming off as town power to try to eat a scum shot)
