His overall chance of being scum has got to be much lower than MZero's. You're running a much higher risk of missing scum today altogether.

I'm not trying to town confirm red by any stretch. He's got a % chance to be scum and short of flipping I'm not sure what could convince me to full clear him. That will have to be dealt with at some point . but if he is town then it's SCUM's problem to reduce town's available information.

So far if he's scum going for false information then he hasn't done anything yet except call a dead guy town and call another guy town who invariably must be town. I'd much rather take the high % chance today with MZero and take everything red says with a grain of salt as usual.

Hell look at the votes on MZero. You have:

1) Yourself. If you're town you should believe that you're town.

2) Ulti. You've never seemed to doubt his town-ness (though admittedly I have)

3) Peaf, our good and faithful bodyguard. Town by necessity.

4) Blade (scanned as not moving by Corrik)

5) Myself (currently not in your POE)

You don't think 5 can muster together 5 votes on the same person? You think that invariably feels "too easy" and therefore that person is town?

I can't see configurarions where red is town on the town side because it's super super stacked

Mzero town? Yeah it's possible. I can see many configurations where Mzero is just very bad town. In fact I think I'd feel better lynching IGCD tomorrow than Mzero when red flips scum to be honest. I'd rather Peaf have maximum turns to miss doing bodyguard before going for Mzero

Town dayvig + backup could potentially have killed half the scum team without involving lynches or being caught by scanning roles. Those are low % odds, but has to be something that would have been considered in balancing.

And it isn't just balance meta, MZero's voting record has been atrocious:

Backup on town dayvig is a bit weird yeah.

I think it's probably OK. For setup scum dayvig does fit better though. Especially if it has an aim at night mechanic

That doens't work because that makes red town and red scanned corrik town. so i guess it ONLY works if corrik is godfather who went on to claim the lighthouse shenanigans. Also means town only has bodyguard/backup for prot.

This may sound silly but I think its worth sharing. Last game red was scum and I clearly recall his opening post was something like miller claim fun times.

Now in 6.053 he says Im claimed scanner.

Bold emphasis my own.

Does anyone else find that phrasing weird? Not Im miller and not Im a scanner. Last game he was lying and now we see the same awkward phrasing. Maybe its a catch or maybe it means nothing, but thinking out loud here.

You can kinda put weak JK into the scanning role too, but they are either a protection who cannot protect town power (though they can stop town anti-power from dying, heyo!) or a very weak scanner who can only confirm that someone stayed put or not. Which only works if he gets everyone on record day 1 as being able to more or not move at night, so scum team let themselves get played into making corrik a more formidable scanner than he otherwise would have been.

And then a backup.

If the Vigi and potentially the neighborizer as well are scum then that's honestly not too much power
