Skipping over andy's posts because I haven't played, but I've always been torn on whether or not I'd enjoy this. I appreciate a good JRPG, particularly from the SNES era, but I don't seem to be as into them as I used to be and I'm not completely sold on the overheating mechanic or the fact that the game switches to being about mechs later. Am I being dumb?
Tried Sea of Stars when it released. Played it a bit and it was...fine, but I ended up not continuing with it, if that's any frame of reference.
Only the exceptions can be exceptional.
