I appreciate Baker being able to avoid sacks.

I do not appreciate that punt return.

the bucs are down their top two corners.

That's not good.

Denver, who just lost by 50, is a 3 1/2 point road favorite against Chicago.

Good Lord .

To lose by 50 and then be a road favorite has this happened before.

Don't know if it ever happened as a road favorite, but the Titans lost to the Patriots 59-0, and then their next game they were favored by 3 against the Jaguars. The Titans had -7 passing yards that game.

I still remember a few weeks ago when the Bears were talking all sorts of shit about how they were going to own the Packers now, and how it was their time. A tad overconfident on their parts

Remember when people were picking the Bears to win the division?

I remember when Justin Fields was talked up as one of the Top 100 players in the NFL. That was really premature.

Well bucs defense looks good.

Bucs offense not so much

Namath effectively called for the Jets to not only get rid of Zach Wilson but to effectively immediately fire everyone who continues to support him aka Salah and Douglas

And this sentiment is very much growing in general among Jets faithful.

I mean I feel like everyone feels this way

Saleh probably secretly feels this way but can't say so

Douglas is acting like he actually believes in Wilson

As a bucs fan I completely don't mind losing this game tbh lol

I feel nothing

When can I start asking for an apology from the entire media and majority of NFL fandom for just assuming Jordan Love would suck this year. I mean, it was so unanimously agreed upon, I think people genuinely believed it was a given.

I never understood it. The guy's a first round pick who sat behind Rodgers for 3 years and has an above-average, offensive-minded coach. I understand the lack of weapons, but still. The correct take would have been: "who knows how he will perform. Maybe good. Maybe bad." This was not the consensus, which was: "he's gonna be horrible."

It's only 3 weeks in. Nobody is (realistically) crowning this guy as the third coming of Favre or future MVP, but he has proven to be a quality, NFL ready quarterback who can lead a team to victories. And if you look at the injury sheet the past two weeks, you'd understand how little help he is getting on field to succeed.

So I am awaiting an apology that will likely never come. Maybe it's premature. I don't care. It baffled me from the start the public consensus that he would suck. I'll hop off my soap box now.
He's better than I was expecting, but I'm not ready to respect him yet. I'm expecting the Lions to go into Lambeau and put him on his ass on Thursday. If he can overcome that and make it a close game or even win the game he'll have earned those props from me. Then I'll immediately start hating him the rest of my life.

It's worse than that, he said Saleh and Douglas weren't picking the right players.

my guy saleh got here after wilson was drafted what the fuck are you talking about

And Douglas, if nothing else, is coming off of drafting the OROTY and DROTY and honestly if Hall wasn't injured last year he might have actually drafted another OROTY too. Wilson clearly isn't the guy but Saleh can't actually say that because there's no one else on the team.

but this is why this team always deserves what it gets

Yes. It feels like that was a month ago by now! Oh wait... it was.

It always feels good to know that the Bears still suck.

The Swifties, I presume. How many of them will actually wear their jersey, though? They just want to support their Queen's new boyfriend even though he doesn't make all the profit from those sales.

Jets sign Trevor Siemian.

How about to win by 50 and then be an underdog? Which is also happening

Also the Vikings 0-3 and road favorites... bc they're playing another 0-3 team. weird lines this week. Giants being favored over Seattle, even though they're home, doesn't feel quite right either

Giants have no business being favored over Seattle in any building, yes.

packers be frisky
while you slept, the world changed
I don't know if I would define the Titans as frisky right now

or define Ryan Tannehill as Kirk Cousins
