Namath effectively called for the Jets to not only get rid of Zach Wilson but to effectively immediately fire everyone who continues to support him aka Salah and Douglas
And this sentiment is very much growing in general among Jets faithful.

When can I start asking for an apology from the entire media and majority of NFL fandom for just assuming Jordan Love would suck this year. I mean, it was so unanimously agreed upon, I think people genuinely believed it was a given. He's better than I was expecting, but I'm not ready to respect him yet. I'm expecting the Lions to go into Lambeau and put him on his ass on Thursday. If he can overcome that and make it a close game or even win the game he'll have earned those props from me. Then I'll immediately start hating him the rest of my life.
I never understood it. The guy's a first round pick who sat behind Rodgers for 3 years and has an above-average, offensive-minded coach. I understand the lack of weapons, but still. The correct take would have been: "who knows how he will perform. Maybe good. Maybe bad." This was not the consensus, which was: "he's gonna be horrible."
It's only 3 weeks in. Nobody is (realistically) crowning this guy as the third coming of Favre or future MVP, but he has proven to be a quality, NFL ready quarterback who can lead a team to victories. And if you look at the injury sheet the past two weeks, you'd understand how little help he is getting on field to succeed.
So I am awaiting an apology that will likely never come. Maybe it's premature. I don't care. It baffled me from the start the public consensus that he would suck. I'll hop off my soap box now.

Travis Kelce jersey sales have spiked by 400%The Swifties, I presume. How many of them will actually wear their jersey, though? They just want to support their Queen's new boyfriend even though he doesn't make all the profit from those sales.
