Dang I'm kicked out of the novid club.

I keep seeing ranges from mid September to mid October for when the new vaccines should be available. Also people without insurance are going to be substantially more limited this time around as to where they can get them. Regional/state health offices should still be able to freely provide them, though.

These will be targeting the XBB lineage of variants (which were first noticed at the end of 2022), and since those are the most dominant at the moment that's a good thing. But of course, that could change relatively quickly. I know there's an "Omicron BA.2.86" variant that's being tracked now that would really suck if it took off since these boosters probably wouldn't help much against it. But we'll see.

Coughing is worse today, but that's the only new surprise. I feel mostly better, aside from that. The lower back pain is still a thing, but not nearly as bad. I also managed to get a proper amount of sleep last night for the first time since this started.

I think I'm on the mend. Still can't smell.

I don't like this whole "not being able to smell what I'm cooking" thing I got going on. =/

This is some bullshit. I can smell garbage and cleaning chemicals, but not my delicious cinnamon cake.
