Post something nostalgic you remember from board 8

I remember some guy was like "If Tidus doesn't win this match, I'll eat an entire copy of FFX"

And he did. He like grinded up the case and the instructions and the disc and took a bunch of pictures of himself eating it. This was way before smart phones, so the only way you get pics online was to own a digital camera (which were pretty pricey back then), so this guy did ALL that just to eat a copy of FFX and post it on board 8

What was that guys user name? does anybody still have those pics?

Since this was long enough ago that there are actually people here that missed this, no, he did not eat his copy of FFX, and made it very obvious (though it was hilarious). The funniest part was that the game he shattered and pretended to eat wasn't even FFX; he only showed the backs of the broken pieces.

Yeah, that's him. Full_Throttle aka duckbear.

I miss him. He always helped me know what was important. (Sometimes the chicks he'd post about were absolutely gorgeous, other times they were just... ordinary. But that was part of his charm.)

What happened to him was that he got into it with some people on CE and they ran him off that board. Ducky copped a deal with the mods: He'd stay off CE and they'd give him his own board. This one:

He quickly got bored and then got warned again for some reason and just quit. The answer was simple: Stop posting on toxic CE, where people were out to get him, and just post here and POTD where people are more chill.

this is going to sound really sad but this topic is making me a wee bit emotional

my time on this forum, whether actively contributing or lurking, during contest season and mid-contest is some of the best time I have ever had in my life. knowing that we will most likely never have a contest and even if we do that I have too many adult responsibilities for me to shitpost all day is kind of devastating to me, although I knew eventually this time would come

And you shit on The Flash / Ezra Miller in that one topic. You just always seemed like one of the b8 essentials to me
