I watched the first 4 or 5 episodes before and was really enjoying it but kind of just fell off so I decided to start it again and I'll be honest I'm enjoying it even more even though I'm just starting episode 3.

On S1E9 and I gotta say for a show this funny I don't think I've had my heartstrings strung so consistently.

It's stupid how many times I almost cried during the first season. I haven't gotten around to more yet, but I will soon.
Change is weird.
it's a fantastic show and felt very desperately needed when it first premiered

I've also really always enjoyed Jason Sudeikis too so he's a big plus.

The first season is really good.

Uh oh, does that mean the rest of it isn't?

If you wake up at a different time, in a different place, could you wake up as a different person?

That was great. It was really a great first season ending. Super hyped to watch the rest of it.

It's hit or miss depending on what you're looking for. Some people love the remainder, and some people think it loses thread.

But first season is mostly unanimously loved.

The second and third seasons are good and have some great moments in them, but not as consistently excellent as the first.

Ok, sounds like I'll be the former because I loved everything about the first season so whatever direction it goes shouldn't effect my opinion negatively.

I would generally say that people who like the characters and feel-good nature of the show still really like the rest of it.

People who like plot and humor and writing, less so.

Roy Kent is by and far the best character of season 2, and some people might say he's the only good character in it (aside from Trent Crimm, from the Independent).

Ok sounds perfect than. I love Kent, and Trimm as a character was a nice contrast to some of the silliness of Ted.

So I am about half way through season 2. I haven't liked Ted's interactions with Sharon and Nathan has become quite a fucking dickhead and he was definitely one of the more lovable characters in season 1.

Show falls off a cliff after S1 imo. I will say it ends well, but it's never close to the heights of S1.

Aside from those two things I'm still really enjoying it.
