GTAV takes place in an era just as ''retro'' s San Andreas did when it came out

If someone played GTA V today (single player mode at least) they would find it to be an interesting snapshot of what life was like way back then.

It makes me wonder what time period GTA VI will take place in. Or maybe it was developed to take place in a current time period that will end up becoming nostalgic by the time it actually manages to come out...
