As a Vols fan, it makes me really happy to see Josh Dobbs finally get to start an NFL game. Dude has been hanging around on the fringes of several teams for years.

whew Burks almost ran out the clock there trying to fight for extra yardage but that was a heck of a job not to go out of bounds initially

Titans have three takeaways in the first half, which is basically what had to happen for this game to be competitive

But even if they don't, if the Giants beat the Colts, that Week 18 game becomes completely meaningless for New York, so they'll probably take care of business then.

It would just be bad news for Washington because Dallas will actually try to win.

Giants clinch with a win (and like a dozen other scenarios even if they lose or tie), and Washington clinches with a win and losses by Seattle, Detroit, and Green Bay

The Bears getting the #1 pick wouldn't necessarily hurt them because they don't want a QB

The danger would be Chicago trading that pick to someone else who does.

If I need as much help as the Bears do, and I can trade back from like 1 to 5-10 and pick up a bunch of extra shit, I go for it.

Unless I'm blown away by a specific OT and I think he just isn't going to make it down there. Bears want to grow Fields, and they want to go OT+WR to start this off.

Ok maybe not a bunch, but the Bears could use an extra third and sixth round pick or whatever it'd be.

Though one thing I've heard is that this isn't a particularly impressive draft class overall among QBs. It's more of a "Unless you REALLY think that QB is 'the guy', don't rush to draft him".

The spread in Lions/Bears dropped significantly in the last few hours and I'm not sure why.

How are the Lions only 4 point home favorites against the Bears?

Also I want the Panthers to win but everything inside me says the Bucs are going to actually win a game comfortably for once.
