The Pokemon anime ditches Ash and Pikachu, two new protagonists in a new series

Not gonna happen.

Maybe Ash will be gone for maybe 20-30 episodes and then come back as a mentor for the two new ones.

Remember when Brock was gone for...4 episodes in between "Gotta Catch You Later" and "You Never Can Taillow" lol

Ash ALWAYS goes to the new regions for him to explore in the show.
