Ackutually........Ya Boy Guzma was popular.He was, but the general reaction to Team Skull in general that they were a breath of fresh air compared to teams like Aqua/Magma and Flare with overly complicated world-threatening plots.

But yeah, I don't see how they're any less Pokemon than other heavily human-like Pokemon like Bisharp or Scizor or Hitmonchan.
