I've been trying to remember the name of an arcade game, but I'm not having much success. It would help if I knew the name of the game it was based on - take over tiles by either creating another piece next to you or moving one of your pieces next to your opponent's, thereby capturing the space. I remember the game had multiple bad guys to compete against, which essentially stood for the CPU difficulty level. I could have sworn one of them was named Muck Man and another was called Colony, but Google doesn't turn up any results. Do any of you know what game this was?
Ataxx?

There's enemy difficulties called Colony and Mush Man.
Huh? Finger!?
What the hell?
sounds like the same rules as Spot The Video Game, which is very loosely based on Go

unfortunately I don't know any arcade game using those rules so I'm not much help!

Youre also describing a common game that was on most of those Bar touch screen games
azuarc won the Guru. I did not.
Definitely Ataxx. I remember playing it waaayy back when my family went to a restaurant and this was in the bar. I was terrible at it, but I also accidentally played against the hardest AI because I was a kid and had no idea that "Encephalo Man" would be super brainy.

And then later I played Spot and went "wait a sec, they stole these rules!"

And then later after that, it was one of the puzzles in The 7th Guest.
Only the exceptions can be exceptional.
