Thank God I didn't come in here to find a picture of that banshee Marjorie Taylor Greene.Hey, a banshee would make a perfectly fine MTG creature.
isnt this part of a secret lair drop?yes https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/feature/first-look-pride-across-multiverse-2022-05-02
awesome. also it's apparently a promo card so who gives a shitalso this. i'm not serious enough about the game to ever purchase a secret lair. if i were really hankering to get serious about modern or legacy or something i might
This is actually true though. If they actually want to be allies then the content should not be region locked.
Is this good for a kids card game?If a kid has $30 to special-order the Secret Lair that has this card in it then I say let them have it, they know what they want.
What was the controversy with Chandra? For a while in the stories they were building up to a Chandra/Nissa pairing. Then in one of the books the author wrote... this... and actually thought it was good.

I've stopped reading the fiction after this book so I don't know what's come since then.
i like this. hopefully any controversy is light

As a fat, hairy man, I feel personally objectified. Seriously though, from what I understand about WOTC's policies, this art would be completely unacceptable in a main set and is extremely questionable as a Secret Lair.
Maybe WOTC has changed their policy on sexual content, but as recently as 2 years ago they banned someone from their content creator program for "sexualizing" Magic. So it seems a bit odd that they'd greenlight a explicitly sexual card like this. Honestly I'm all for softcore porn on Magic cards. Hopefully this means bikini babe pinups are on the horizon.
That's what MoogleKupo was alluding to, this was a retcon that has itself been retconned. The backlash was significant and she's gay again.
That one dude looks like a total third wheel
Banned actually, you can only use gay bears now for the cardhow do you know that the old bears arent gay
shut up guigadeeps is guiga? it all makes sense now
how do you know that the old bears arent gay

Seriously though, from what I understand about WOTC's policies, this art would be completely unacceptable in a main set and is extremely questionable as a Secret Lair.Lizbeth Eden wasn't removed from the content creator program for any MtG art she created, she was removed for using MtG related art to promote her Only Fans. She was literally using their product to sell her porn, and it's their right to sever ties with her for that. Nothing about this art or literally hundreds of other "sexualized" pieces of MtG art violates their policy because it's actually a very liberal policy. What she did went well beyond the bounds.

NGL the writing for the average fanfic for children's cartoons is better than this.Yeah that writing is legitimately grade school writing. I've read random erotic fiction much better written lol.
Like if I pick a random Amphibia fanfic it has a 50% chance at bare minimum of being better.
This is like that one Mass effect book when the ninja eats Anderson's cereal.
This is real??? How do I get it??pay way too much money for cardboard online https://secretlair.wizards.com/us
yeah that was my point, its a promo card essentially so it will more than likely never actually be seen in the wild in a deck lolyou'd be surprised. mtg players love to bling out their junk

Still think it's awfully strange that straight-up fetish art is on an official card, especially nowadays.
I'm not sure how this is fetish art just because it has gay people on it?because it has a pun, obviously. puns are just too kinky
I'm not sure how this is fetish art just because it has gay people on it?If they just wanted burly guys for a bear pun, they could have been fully clothed, sitting around a campfire or something. Instead it's an orgy.
