Has a game ever displeased you badly enough that you recoil at the thought of it?

I was going through some of the game sales, and I caught sight of a couple of games that I truly did not enjoy. I had an internal gut reaction to them, as though the experience had caused me harm at some point. That's obviously an overreaction, but I was wondering if it happened to any of you.
Hohokum
There's probably more but it's what I thought of immediately. It's a fine relaxed puzzle game with a miserable unfair full-game speedrun achievement. I'm still mad after failing 2, maybe 3 attempts.

Not whole games, but some parts of them. Like 90% of FFX's mini-games.

I remembered it so fondly, but when I went back to play it again later, it was all slider puzzles

Wince? That seems a bit extreme. I might just see a game and think "Bad game".

I wouldn't say recoil, but I do find myself thinking about Deadly Premonition 2 every so often and getting sad.
Still the number one reason for the success of the Internet.

7 in my case, which, on a GameCube stick, shaved skin off the palm of my hand.
I know there are some, but none come to mind that have that 'oomph.' Worst I can think of is Justice League Task Force, but I'm fairly well past that joke of a Christmas present. I've also had decent luck compared to a friend where he would get that reaction for games like Fallout: New Vegas because of corrupted data eliminating hours to a full game.

Remembering seeing my cousin playing Resident Evil 2 for the first time makes me wince a little, too.

Yeah but for different reasons. Certain games remind me of certain people (here and other forums) defending bad games because they refuse to admit that they bought into the hype and the game is actually a bit of a mess. For example, I can't think of Cyberpunk without thinking of someone on another forum who, a week before release, called himself the biggest Cyberpunk fan on the planet and talked about how the game was the greatest thing ever, and then doubled down on it after release. Just a big oof.

I know people like different things, but the mental gymnastics I've seen over my life when it comes to certain games makes me wince.

The young justice game gets pretty close. Why lock some important plot that never gets properly explained in the show I'll never know. The gameplay was so bad though that wish I never wanted to find out.

FF13 and its interminable corridor immediately springs to mind.
I love Castlevania, but Judgment was a goddamn mess.

So first option by default, though I'm sure there are more.
