Surely this isnt as it sounds. I tried looking online but cant find any reputable sources.
The Democrats in California also tried (or did) pay for attorneys to represent illegal immigrants in federal court. Without knowing anything about this and purely as speculation, my guess is the state paid top dollar for corporate attorneys who have zero experience in immigration law.

That said, to separate a child from the parents is a horrible thing. 450k wouldnt be enough to make me whole for that.

Where is this money coming from?
So several immigrants fled their country and attempted to come into America (some legally, some illegally), and many of them were separated from their families. Those whom where separated have been reunited and the plan is to give them $450,000? Is that a hard and fast amount, or is that the maximum? And have they been reunited for sure?

Should answer everything and any follow ups, maybe.
Moops?

I dont think that article mentions where the money is coming from, then again I got bombarded by ads. Is it taxpayers dollars?
No Biden is going to rob a bank.

Just wait until you find out where all the money for police department misconduct settlements comes from
I mean, I do think it's fair to say "this should be coming out of the bank accounts of the specific government employees who did it, not from taxpayers"

Insanely unrealistic and infeasible, but fair
Congrats to BKSheikah , who knows more about years than anyone else.
Need to just keep printing money.

Or the people who want the bill to pass.

Sounds to me like you're arguing to abolish police immunity
You did indeed stab me in the back. However, you are only level one, whilst I am level 50. That means I should remain uninjured.
Either that, or to get rid of RICO

Technically, the person who separated these people was a former president, because they were the one who gave the order

They are not US Citizens. They broke laws. They deserve a first class flight back to their own country. They do not deserve financial settlement.

Biden also has refuted this, and it has been said that this being said would encourage people to try to purposely do so.

The 450k to my knowledge is an ACLU wet dream amount and not gonna happen.
