Was disappointed with those weird hybrid game sets they've been releasing. Finally something respectable.

Just need some real minifigs at some point, and we'll be set.
Bells, bells, bells!
The Bob Omb Battlefield is perfect
Didn't really like the rest though
wololo
I want to like this, but the proportions seem way off. I get why the block is so big, but I dont think it looks good when the little sets are flipped out. I think I would have preferred if the mini stages were individual sets you could buy.
There are literally zero ? Blocks in Super Mario 64, so thats an odd choice.
Whoa that's fucking awesome and I might actually buy this one.

A lot to like and yet dislike about this.

I love how it's so much in one block, and I like the little details like yoshi on the roof, etc.

But what are those character models? Why is it a ? instead of a "!"? Just not as good as it could've been

man they shouldn't even have bothered with the lakitu if that's the best they could do

anyways, the lego NES was way better than this. still the best mario set
pepsi for tv-game

They are microbuilds. You see a lot of figures like that, more in some LEGO series than other, particularly the Architecture ones.
Bells, bells, bells!
I love it.

Kinda neat, but doesn't have even close to the appeal for me that the LEGO NES/CRT from last year had.
LEGO Master Sword when?

I work at LEGO in Minneapolis, and while these are fun...WHERE"S ZELDA STUFF!

Gotcha. It's good that it's an actual thing then but I can't say it's my style unfortunately.

I will hand it to Nintendo/Lego, they could have easily just pumped out blind bags with Mario figures and some building sets, but they have tried to make interesting sets and toys. they have still monetized the license to an incredible degree, but, I feel like they tried to do something interesting. Kids like the Mario stuff

Aww wish you hadn't reminded me of that. I've almost picked it up about a dozen times but keep holding off.

Hows the Fire Brigade going
I'd be much more interested if they just sold the level mini-dioramas without the giant question mark block.
The shattered stage is set and there's a role you must fulfil

about that...
W-well I got the Bookshop!
That one I don't have! I've only got 4 - Fire Brigade, Grand Emporium, Assemble Square and Parisian Restaurant.
I guess theres a secret stage in the set - nothing insane but still kinda cool and not part of the box art etc. fun!
