the other two are pretty much new characters introduced in strive though Happy Chaos is kinda briefly introduced in Xrd Rev 2

Happy Chaos is the current form of The Original, That Mans mentor .

Goldlewis Dickinson is the guy eating a burger from Sols stage in Xrd, in Strive he is the US Secretary of Defense, and wields a coffin on a chain which contains an alien from Area 51 .

So from what I've seen this game is an enormous success, plays well, has great netcode, and there is a niche but very loud group of hardcore series fans who think it's the worst shit ever and are absolutely furious it exists.

from what i've seen it's mostly a really good game with a couple of really weird design decisions

like wallbreaking being overly convoluted to the point where you can barely keep track of it, and the combo counter being terrible

The online on PC does not function. When it works it works, like in actual gameplay, but it's a minefield of disconnection and errors.
