One good scene does not justify the rest of the movie.
"Throne scene so good" being the only defense anyone can come up with just helps to solidify how bad the movie is as a whole.
When it's that good, it does. The space fight around it is really good, too.
But I also don't hate the Ewoks or the movie's silly sense of humor in general so I actually like most of the movie anyway, so I'm not just handwaving away the rest of it. Best movie.
