Oh when I saw this earlier I thought it was for the TV series.

I mean, I can appreciate them at least trying to start off with actual game characters this time. I love Neal McDonough, honestly I feel he would've made for a fantastic Wesker though >_>

So I'm guessing that Leon gets sent along with STARS to represent the 'regular' RCPD. And maybe Claire was visiting Chris and became one of the missing hikers, but turns up alive having made it to the 'safety' of the mansion by the time Bravo gets there?

EDIT: Wait, they've got Damian Darhk in a Resi film and he's not Wesker? Fricking William Birkin? Sod the inevitable racelift arguments, that's a bad casting decision.

I love Neal McDonough too but the guy is 54 and Tom Hopper is 35. If they're looking to keep this going for 5-10 years then he's going to age out of Wesker pretty quick

This has potential. Its a good cast, they have s proper horror director and its sticking to the games. I also think not being a huge budget is for the best as well. And doing the first two together is a good idea.

Its the most potential for a Resident Evil film in almost twenty years!

Yeah, I thought it wasn't at first, but my brain defaulted to RE5-era Mega Meat Chris. He looks pretty close to REmake Chris.
