i watched parasite last year and found it incredible

since then i've seen snowpiercer, mother, and the host. i liked mother all right, but overall none of them even touches parasite

anyone a fan or, or have a favorite/second-favorite of his movies?
yet all sailors of all sorts are more or less capricious and unreliable - they live in the varying outer weather, and they inhale its fickleness
Ive only seen Snowpiercer. Was a pretty fun movie. Plot was nothing special, but the presentation was superb.
There is no shame in not knowing; the shame lies in not finding out

the host and snowpiercer are both great.

memories of murder is supposed to be his best ever, but i haven't watched it yet. I hear okja is good too.
...Snrk.
And theeen, we do stuff like, 'Persona!' with our Personas and beat the crap outta Shadows...
Memories of Murder is his next best; all of his films do a phenomenal job of shifting moods, no matter their main premise. Parasite is the perfection of a formula, but he's been toying with it for years.
Okja is incredible and easily my second favorite after Parasite

Snowpiercer and The Host are also great but not necessarily on the same level

my ranking:

Memories of Murder
Parasite
Mother
The Host
Snowpiercer/Okja
Tokyo (this is a little different since it's an anthology)

the only one i haven't seen is his debut. Parasite is definitely his most accessible (i guess Snowpiercer too but it really is not like his other stuff).

there's an Every Frame video that breaks down one of the scenes in Memories of Murder that's a good watch too
Memories of Murder is in my top 10 movies of all-time, it's incredible.
