I have unlocked every single League of Legends champion without spending money on any of them.

(In fact, I've only ever spent $5 on LoL which I used to buy Badger Teemo forever ago)

I will miss the 235,000 IP I just spent.

I only passively play League a few times a week. They increased the ways possible to gain Blue Essence and slowed champion release dates to a crawl(And gave Sett out for free).

Also this was a payout of years of needlessly hording IP to reach the point where I could use it all in one glorious spending spree where hording became unnecessary because I dont have to worry about saving for something I might want.

Its like holding Megalixirs for that one fight and being told "there will be no more fights or DLC or anything after this ever so use those you stockpiled for no reason" and then going to town and knowing your hording wasn't really worth it but that you never hit the point you needed them and it was a job well done.

But how can I be sure there won't be a save transfer feature to a speculative direct sequel 15 years from now? Better keep saving them just in case.

10 years sounds way too much, guess I just overplayed it? I did the same thing but kept going with the same 7 or so champs anyway.
Backlog: Space Invaders: Fukkatsu no Hi (T16). Last finished: Space Invaders '91 (Genesis), Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos + The Frozen Throne (PC) (Hard mode).

It was something dumb like Urgot. I trusted my math and spreadsheet but just in case I messed something up I bought all the champs I might play and left things I'd never play towards the end.

If you play for years it's possible! I play super casually, really only with friends, and I've owned them all for maybe a year and a half

also I've probably spent about 50 dollars total on it, mostly buying my friends skins as gifts

Being able to use these event tokens for champion shards definitely sped up the process.

I finally accomplished this last year, but Ive spent quite a bit on skins at this point. Darius was the last one I bought and the only one I never intend to play even a single time.

Come on, Urgot (S3/S4) was my favorite champion. He was the only thing that made the game bearable when I was still forced to play it if I wanted to do something with certain friends. Just existing in a match as him made for hilarious reactions from everybody else, and when All for One was a thing I think I made two people uninstall the game when me and a friend got the whole team to be him
