RMAH in Diablo 3 probably had more negativity even from the wokesters

Not even close. D3 players were pissed about it, sure, but it's nothing like the intense and broad reaching rage that adding touch controls to a game and supporting an oppressive totalitarian regime produced.

We'll have to agree to disagree, or go Lasa-style and disagree to disagree. :) hi Lasa sorry <3
Donny: Are they gonna hurt us, Walter?
Walter: No, Donny. These men are cowards.
Lich King was the point where I stopped caring about WoW. They released an expansion where there was no incentive to run 5-mans, the 5-mans were all short uninvolved affairs as an evolution of Classic to TBC to then, and there was no raid content. (Well, okay, there were two isolated bosses and a recycled zone I'd already seen.) And we had to wait months before anything else was added. I left out of boredom, came back when Ulduar was released, and the first boss was bullshit vehicle combat. After that, I was out. I didn't care any more. Plus it was almost a year again before the next real raid zone was released -- no, I don't count TGT. Every day had devolved into grinding dailies because there was nothing else of value besides chasing achievements.

Wow, imagine talking smack about Ulduar, probably the best raid ever made.
I used the knife. I saved a child. I won a war. God forgive me.

Sir Chris
To be fair, Flame Leviathan has nothing to do with why Ulduar is great, though its a shame he apparently never got any further than that.

only did one or two bosses in Ulysses during Wrath, but it was a fun raid to solo a few expansions later.

?

I feel like being decked out in gear from 5 man heroics was important for getting started raiding in early wrath. Am I misremembering?
