The fact that a month gets skipped for urgency only once blows me away. The entire second half of the game should have scrapped that system.
I did enjoy it, for the record, but it needed toning down big time.
The second half is just weird. We've completely abandoned the lost item mechanic but theres still glowy blue crap on the ground...its just that all it is ends up being cheap seeds and fishing supplies(But there isn't a need to fish as support level maxed out forever ago).
Theres basically no token quests except a supply chain that gives you absolutely 0 direction on how to complete(I looked up a guide and even with that it requires a massive amount of garden RNG). Everyones supports are maxed with Byleth and there isn't really any class progression left to be had. So playing out the month is really just going through the motions.
There isn't much of a way during explore to focus on supports between other people(You can feed them together and then choir practice -once-).
And with all the A and S ranks out there now Instruct phase feels so dull(Lots of boosting of everyones Authority).
The second half would feel a hell of a lot better just switching to a straight line of story battles with some Paralogue offshoots to do instead of being slaves to the month system.
