Good looking out on the Deluxe Edition update. Cancelled my regular order and got the deluxe for $61 after tax. I basically never get the deluxe edition but might as well for that price!

By this logic Shenmue was full price for 1/5th of a game, or Trails in the Sky FC was however much for 1/3rd of a game.

Yeah I'd rather have a new game myself. Just HDifying FFVII wouldn't really be too interesting.

Like Final Fantasy IV DS was the closest thing to a new game from the Final Fantasy series, as far as remakes go, and it converted one of my least liked FFs to one of the better ones.

yeah actually, changing gameplay to about the level FFIV DS did probably would have been for the best to make it feel somewhat fresh. maybe a just a bit more. but they went too far imo. biggest thing is it should have been no more than 60 hours to the very end, sold as one game.
