Finishing the C-sides was one of the most engaging moments I've had in my entire life of playing video games. Celeste's entire layered difficulty structure (Story -> Strawberries -> B-Sides -> C-sides) is quite possibly the most brilliant case study of good game design ever.
5 C Side is the worst designed stage in the game and it disappointed me plenty
This stage is beqtable only if you get lucky dnough to land those pixel perfect jumps or have some super skills
A normal human being that "git gud" is not good enough for this shit

I dont remember C-Sides being a thing, was that DLC? Also I would recommend Slime-San if you like that kind of difficulty progression. A game held in high praise that slipped past a lot of people. Not as good as Celeste but its up there for me

Uhh the level 5 C Side was one of the easiest ones. Not even joking I said out loud "wow that was pretty easy" after finishing it.

You have to beat all of the B-Sides and they unlock. Don't think they were an upgrade, I see people talking about them around when the game came out. There's a Chapter 9 DLC coming sometime in the near future though.
I mean 6-C was easy too but 5-C was basically just a test to see if you could do the upward dash wall jump consistently. The window is pretty lenient for those so they're not exactly hard, even when the wall is 1 square.
looool 5C took me under 8 minutes. How could you play this entire game and think that was the worst stage?
Can someone explain what the "B- and C- sides" mean?
