tonight i'm basically staying up struggling for a dumb essay for JP Culture on arcades which has currently lead me to nostalgia tripping this show and now looping Crash Man's Them-... err I mean the V&A Top 10 theme song

aaaaaaaa this is just the ultimate nostalgia for me, and probably a huge part of me growing up such a Nintendo fan since they largely did Nintendo stuff, like I pretty specifically have some memories of kids racing Donkey Kong Country I think

but hell I got nostalgia for the ever-present KFC Booby Prize every ep

I think I'm just making this topic as a personal note to self to binge watch episodes when I'm more available

yeahhh just the locale being so close always appeal to me as a kid hoping to one day get on the show

I had similar kinds of feelings about the old kids game show Uh-Oh although most episodes of that were in other provinces

i actually recently learned that the show went until 2008... i thought it was off the air WAY before then. They were playing with xbox 360's and shit. on the same set. blows my mind.

but yeah this show is a definitive piece of the 90ies for me. it was so good.

heh yeahhhh I I don't remember have the slightest recollection of Xbox, hard to really say when I stopped seeing YTV... when I think later YTV stuff I think Beyblade/Hamtaro which is 2002 and I wouldn't have stopped just that year, but I don't remember anymore V&A spotlight...

man I remember when pat left The Zone and I instead would see him on that Just for Laughs Improv Championship show and I'd always root for him and Pat Oldring....... well, and IIRC they were Team Toronto so they would be my local rep anyways

was something to see him making NSFChildren jokes he wouldn't be able to on YTV..... but then that's nowhere near the league of Daryn Jones with Buzz

I loved the bizarre things they came up with to decided who won on Video and Arcade.

Like when they did Pokemon Blue it was who caught the most pokemon in that time frame.
