It deletes everything in the same directory as the uninstaller. So as long as you install it in its own folder (as is default) it should be OK.
No matter how tender, how exquisite... A LIE WILL REMAIN A LIE.

If I understand it right, the uninstaller just deletes the folder its in. So if you do the default installation and it makes its own folder, it's fine. But if you install it to some already existing folder with other stuff in it, that's a problem.

He's using a custom installer. They are notoriously difficult to work with, even for experienced programmers. I'm surprised that's the only bug related to it.
