Miu and Tsumugi are my favorites. Kokichi and Shuichi suck. I would've liked the game a lot more if Kaede survived (killing off Shuichi in the first case would've been cool too). I think case 1 and 6 are really good (6 might be my favorite in the series), but 2-5 aren't that great.

I'm doing the mode that lets me fill up my report card first. Kaede's free time events are pretty good. And I'm also sleeping with everybody in the love hotel. Maki's was surprisingly pure. Gonta's was unsurprisingly pure. Kiyo's was horrifying and not OK in the slightest.

Started playing this with my niece. Right when we got to the line "I shoved everything I was holding into my backpack and ran after Shuichi", we were interrupted by something else, so I had to hold it on that text until we could come back to it ten minutes later.

She saw it and went "wait, what did we shove into our backpack?" I had no idea how to answer, so I just said everything we were holding. "So like, the shotput?" My brain just went UHHHHHHHHHH, but my mouth went "the cameras and sensors and stuff".

"Oh, so not the shotput."
"......"

Then almost comically, we got to the other line "I dropped what I was holding and ran after Shuichi" and again, we were interrupted, so I had to hold on that line. I just said it out loud again when we came back to it to emphasize it, but she didn't ask what that was.

This should be a fun reveal during the trial.

Man, that sounds fun, playing DRV3 together when you've finished the game. How old is she though lol.

She's 22. I went through the first two games with her when she was 17 and 19 respectively.

And yeah, I love playing through it with someone when I already know everything. It gives me an excuse to go back and see all the foreshadowing I completely glossed over before.

Like this time, we decided to talk to Rantaro as Kaede. I did not before, and missed some dialogue that further cemented that this killing game wasn't Rantaro's first rodeo.

There's actually a unique event if you have Nail Polish and speak to Rantaro, but I'm assuming you didn't boot up a NG+. It was a preorder bonus item, but is obtainable through lottery as well. VERY interesting event in retrospect.

By "boot up a NG+" you mean did I just go to Chapter Select? Because I did, so I could keep my levels, though that's not what I gave him. Was I supposed to give that to him to get the special event?

By the way, I just started up the Team Development Plan mode. Not terribly sure what I'm doing, but I felt like I did alright my first time through as Maki, but then the 2nd year and 3rd year batches of enemies completely destroyed me. I tried to hard level the straight damage to all enemies skill, but was only able to use it once, and it did like 9 damage to everything, so apparently that's not the way to go.

Just started one as Korekiyo and the first event absolutely killed me. I'm doing a scavenger hunt and I got a card that said to find "the person you like".

"Well, since the person you like is actually inside you, it's proper to cross the finish line alone, but that would require some serious explaining. What should you do instead?"

-Perhaps exchange my card
-Take a..... broad interpretation of "like"
-Observe the others instead

Went with the middle option and he brought Sayaka. "It said a popular person with a nice smile."

Purchase the Parasol at the School Store at the earliest opportunity.Finish exploring the extra areas of the school, then meet Angie. Talk to the Ultmate Aikido in the Entrance hallway.The extra scene occurs during Free Time. Go meet the Ultimate Aikido for the scene.

Chapter 2: Cutscene #2

Get the Commemorative Medals from the Casino Opening.After Free Time, talk to the Ultimate Inventor in the morning.

Chapter 3:

Talk to Himiko in the School Courtyard to collect the Gun of Mans Passion.And youll get a pervy cutscene!

Chapter 4: Cutscenes #1 & #2

Get the Dark Belt to train together with Himiko in the Dojo.Get the Pure White Practice Sword to train with Kaito in the Courtyard.

Also, Development Plan is a wierd duck. Best to look up play strategies for the board, since the whole point is to level them up for use in the Dungeon Crawler, which helps you spin the Gacha for more Development Plan characters, and the cycle continues.

I got the final five cutscenes naturally in my game.

I even commented on the pervy one! I noted that I saw everyone in the Student Council except Keebo and that was my main reason for doing it, so I wanted my money back.

I remembered, just copied and pasted the whole thing.

Oh Jesus Christ, I played as Miu and ended up with a Friendship segment with Teruteru and Hiyoko.

This is truly the worst timeline.

Once I got all the characters rarest forms unlocked, I just repeatedly went through the friendship board for events.

Oh jesus that nail brush scene is some amazing foreshadowing haha.

She was not pleased with how the trial went. She remembered our conversation about the shotput exactly, and kept it through her mind when going through the trial, but she said she didn't expect the game to make us the bad guy for basically two trials in a row (since Hajime ended up technically the bad guy in 2-6). She really wanted it to be Miu or Tenko because she really hates whenever either of them talk at all.

Fun fact: Kodaka designed Miu to be what he thought was the worst possible character, and intended for her to be the most hated DR character, and was shocked by her averaging a consistent 4th place in the rankings.

Got my first team of four U-rank characters and breezed through floors 45-70. Felt way better than it should have running through and just annihilating the "final" boss of floor 50 in a whole two turns.

I've got Genocide Jack with 622/377 Strength/Agility and Kirumi with 829 Intellect, then a 200-everything-but-Strength Kaede on heal duty and Hajime with 500/300 Defense/Fortitude with level 10 Sacrifice.

I can probably do better with the support characters, but for now, the four of them are putting in some real work.
