I know I was never really a major user here, but I used to lurk all the time, and be obsessed with stats and shit. And now ive become oddly nostalgic over board 8 lore.

When i was younger, i loved that old geocities website (or whatever it was), with all the character names on the left, and then youd pick one and itd give them a write up (written by different users), and itd even play music from that characters games. And itd have their stats at the bottom.

Anyway, is that archived somewhere?

....also its kinda cringey to me that Ulti did so much work on this. I never even noticed that back then. Back before i took a hiatus from this board, i just remember him as some obnoxious republican guy. Im pretty sure i have him blocked lol. Him and some other loud & proud conservative guy whos name i forget (never was good with all the board 8 usernames)

when i started posting here in '04 i actually liked ulti a lot, and one of the reasons why was because he contributed a ton to the contest discussions.

not gonna lie, i still enjoy reading his post contest analyses.

Ah yeah I remember

Mine was uh Link's

Not being much of a Zelda fan it was my first time hearing it back then

Sonic's was "Blue Streak" iirc so I listened to that one too
