i just caved on my PS4 desire earlier because i could handle a not-Pro as most games enhanced by it i also would just have on PC.
my interest in stuff like Bloodborne, Infamous, and Uncharted is pretty low; my interest in The Last Guardian is pretty non-existent. when i break down why i want a PS4 it ends up being games that wouldn't have much difference and there's nothing really there in the future on that.

I really just want it for 60 FPS Kingdom Hearts. I feel like that has potential to be a completely different game. I think I could do without on most of the others but there are few enough PS4 releases that I must have that it's a big deal.

i considered that one, though still went with the original because:
1) KH 2.5 is 60 FPS on either one
2)

of KH 2.8 is 60 FPS, exception being the 0.2, which is basically more like 50-60 FPS
3) i fully expect KH3 to hit PC, where it'll be better, and i can wait the extra year that'd take.

Yeah, the 60FPS difference will be there for KH3 and that's a big enough game that I can totally see a Pro bundle with it. For the collections it's really just 0.2 and it's not really 60, the fps is just uncapped so it's doing as much as it can.
If you see KH1 or 2 side by side the Pro does come off a bit faster over time, so maybe it's more like 50-60 in base PS4 and the Pro does constant 60.
Totally feels like a waste though. But hey, at least I'm able to play my SRW games and maybe eventually Utawarerumono's sequels on something better than the Vita!

That's pretty optimistic after 0.2 had so much trouble keeping its framerate stable. I definitely want to believe, but at this point I'm really wishing they'd just put KH3 on PC so I don't need to worry about performance souring the experience. >_>
