Yep, he just wrapped is third and a bit series, same as Tennant and Smith. If you go by total time served from first appearance, he will have been The Doctor for longer than Smith.

My level of excitement is slightly higher. Not that I watch any Doctor Who episode except for the one with Agatha Christie, but the reactions shall be delicious.
