You know, I'm really surprised that SCO was even in the Masters bracket, because 1) it's a legitimately good song and deserves to retire, and 2) the first time it was in a VGMC, I
didn't
like it and was mad at all the good songs it was knocking out. So how it's still not retired is beyond me. Terra is a decent song, but it's not outstanding and I probably would've voted for it less often than I did had I not played FFVI. So its frequent struggles aren't surprising.
Daddy Mulk was one of a few entrants in this bracket wroth multiple prior appearances and 0 appearances in the second round. Talk about a turnaround. IIRC, no song that lost in the first round in each of its first two appearances even made the retirement round in its third (or whichever appearance it took to finally make R2 for the first time), and only one such song ever managed to eventually retire prior to this. Meanwhile...I can't explain why I don't like FCDH. Other songs that do similar things, I often like, but something about this song I just find grating. Then again, I dislike a lot of Atelier songs.
