- happy hour makes the first basically buy 1 get 4 free. ...couldn't resist there. now to figure out what was good in 'em... besides Beat Hazard anyway.

- Humble Bundle was me being grateful i held back on buying Psychonauts earlier from amazon because now it's part of a bigger bundle of which i strangely owned none of them and was interested in most. they pretty much came out to school everyone else at the same time and succeeded. cheated in the process seeing how they've got commercial games that aren't just adventure games (looking at you Dark Fall), but still.

- build-a-bundle ain't too hot. groupme problems aside (they don't mean much to me) i'm really not all that interested in most of the games there and i already have some from earlier ones. worse, i actually own Dark Fall. not the digital copy, but CDs and all. ...yeah. there's quite some time left, but at this pace i think the bonuses are the biggest incentive right now...

- Indie Game Music Bundle 3 is on and i fear i may have to go for the $10. the pay what you want is already guaranteed - Frozen Synapse, Terraria, Plants vs. Zombies, Fastfall, and Iilomio are worth it - but the extras... some we don't know yet. some i don't know at all. one is GunGirl 2. and yes, right now if you want the OST for that his site actually lists it for $1 (click on the pic, go to site, yep $1). but if i'm spending some money in this bundle already...

- Graduation Bundle has no interest of mine right now but it's starting to grow. the others are out right now so this has had a net effect against 'em. the average has been consistently dropping because $7 for the CD there is asking for quite a bit when you know it'll be in a music bundle later. also doesn't help that the main standout of the list is Dead Pixels. still, it's growing interest in me because the average keeps dropping. already under $5 leaves you with an interesting case of do you shoot for the extra game or not? rather, is it worth it or not?

Is psychonauts considered indie?

Double Fine bought back Psychonauts from their original publisher so it's wholly owned by an indie studio now

so yes, but only technically

that was my reaction too, yeah. giant case of 'hey uh... PC/Xbox is indie?" but i won't complain!

You missed a couple lol

5 games. Alien Shooter 2 Conscription is a new Steam game, but you need to pay $5+ to get it. If you pay the minimum, you only get Alien Hallway (Steam) and a couple Desura games (one of which is Alpha). Not a particularly good bundle I think >_>

Half of the games have been in another bundle, so not a good one for those who have been following these bundle crazes. It has an interesting price model in which it decreases over time. I believe it has reached its lowest point though >_> They were planning to grant $2000 made from the bundle sales to an aspiring indie developer (the finalists: http://www.bundle-in-a-box.com/page/11), but since sales weren't so good, they're gonna reduced it to an unspecified amount.

Listen up Urinal Cake. I already have something that tells me if I'm too drunk when I pee on it: My friends. - Colbert.
....though being for $1 does make getting those games tempting.
i COULD beat the average of sub $5 but my interest in them is uh.... really, really low. indie adventure games 'joy.'
