I like how it's super easy to get past Wikipedia's "blackout" by just turning Noscript on, or blocking Javascript some other way.
Makes it feel like kind of a lame blackout to be honest! They should just take down the whole f***ing site. Nobody needs Wikipedia for one day.

That is true that a lot of people who don't know what SOPA is won't know how to get around it anyway, but still I think the point could be made even more poignant if people actually
shut down
sites. I think this is great, but imagine how it would feel if we were
actually
stuck without these sites for some time. Point is, I just want to make sure that people actually feel affected by this, instead of seeing the message, going "yeah okay" and moving on.

Or people could get mad at Wikipedia for shutting down, and tell their Congressman to vote for SOPA.
