I'm not cut, but my parents didn't teach me cleanliness (or at least I never cared for it) so when I was 7 or 8 I learnt how to clean by myself. One day I decided to open up the skin (may have been the first time I've done that) and discovered some dried up nasty stuff under it that to this day gives me the chills. So if parents aren't going to cut, they need to instill cleanliness.
