It was on NBC I think. Around like 2011 or something. Basically it was the story of the Bible's King David but set in a fictional modern day middle Easter country. So instead of taking down a giant, David disables a powerful enemy tank code named Goliath. Anyway season 1 only showed his handling the tank and the aftermath where he becomes a national hero. He wasn't king yet

It would have gone multiple seasons and covered his whole life. But it was canceled after only 1 season. I thought it was really good but it was not well advertised and I believe most people didn't know what it was about and never watched it. The ads didn't make it clear it was based on the Bible

I know there are better shows, especially like Firefly...

But I hate that they canceled Keen Eddie after one season. It wasn't even that good lmao I just loved all the actors and 15 year old me was *really* into Miss Moneypenny >_>

Well it may not be canceled, but they havent made new episodes since 2023, and no word on them doing so yet either. The manga is still going though.
