Yea i saw something about this earlier today. Very pleased. I figured it was probably going to happen but nice to have it confirmed

A while back in read an interview with one of the people working on the show and they said if they can, they have ideas to go to like season 6

That ending needed a S2

I think this show is on a good spot. S1 wasn't perfect but a great foundation. Also Disney has been doing well on alien and predator franchises (don't need to combine them again)

I don't know that I finished it I need to check... Did it just conclude ?

I'm pretty sure I finished it, the back half was way better than the front half.. was very mid on it but will watch a s2

It ended over a month ago I think. I forget exactly when

The people in charge of Alien and Predator right now are doing amazing jobs and I hope it keeps up.

unlike a lot of viewers, I really liked it all the way through so I'm looking forward to this.

I'm looking forward to some kind of time skip so we see the impact from the events of the first season.

When I saw what the show was going to be about, I definitely didn't think I'd like it. I love the Alien universe, but it just didn't seem like something I'd like. I ended up enjoying it from start to finish of S1.

So this is great news, albeit expected.

I liked the first season but I felt that the last few episodes really dropped the ball on some of the more interesting characters and plotlines.

The ending in particular left me quite cold. It definitely needs a second series to give it a proper conclusion but I'm not as confident that they know where to go with it as I would have been had some of the promising start been better maintained.

They are going to try to go for multiple more seasons according to the interview I saw. Assuming season 2 isn't a failure, it won't end there

Expected, but good to hear nonetheless. Season 1 had issues, but I found it a worthwhile watch and am interested in where it goes.

They've already been combined. Predator Badlands' plot involves Weyland-Yutani Synths.

I watched a couple of episodes but I wasn't really feeling it.

This is good for anyone who did like it though. I'm just afraid it's going to be required viewing for the next film.

Oh thank goodness! That ending kinda retroactively killed my enjoyment of the whole thing. Baby Elon Musk shouldve died very violently at the very least so hopefully that gets rectified.
Favorite series: Super Robot Wars, Dragon Quest, Fire Emblem, Tales, Megami Tensei, FF (I-X), Suikoden, Lunar, Phantasy Star, Shining Force, SoulCal, and more!

Kinda the same - I was really hooked and pumped for the last episode but it felt they just kicked the can down the road (No one significant died, didn't really resolve the corporation fight plot, didn't resolve the "does the brother make a meaningful choice with consequence")

Alien has always been like that. Literal synth and big corps controlling everything in the first movie, why wouldn't there be anything like that in something set on Earth around the same time period?

Both Alien and Blade Runner have the same director. Ridley Scott also said both movies exist in the same world.
