Shutting down the government to try (and likely fail) to stop the latest GOP shit sucks.
Rolling over immediately for the GOP's latest shit also sucks.
The pro-GOP bias of the mainstream media ensures that all of their options suck more than they should.
It's impossible to have a conversation about D strategy if the starting point is "anything is possible for Senate Ds if they just fight hard enough". That's just ludicrous.
