Not just from immigrants, but even legal citizens who get detained have stuff taken from them and don't get it back. Passports, wedding rings, anything important and or valuable. In the comments, I saw someone mention a Navajo woman who was wrongly detained (agents probably thought she was mexican) and they stole priceless, irreplaceable ancestral jewelry that she never got back

And another claimed that they witnessed ICE ransacking a restaurant and stealing all the cash

At the very least it's a good idea to record them and everything they take. It won't stop them, but the rest of the world will have vivid, lasting memories of what pieces of shit they are for behaving in that manner.

That is so fucked up. There should be justice considering the house wasn't even the right one.

Also I heard that in theory, ICE isn't supposed to be arresting or even detaining citizens. They are supposed to call the cops if they think its needed. But legally, ICE is committing a crime everytime they detain or arrest a citizen
