the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D ship from Star Trek: The Next Generation. The ship is nearly two feet long and, just like in the show, it has a detachable command saucer. It's not available for preorder, but will be available to buy November 28 on the LEGO Store, for $399.99.

The ship has a secondary hull and warp nacelles with red and blue detailing. It also has an opening shuttlebay and two mini shuttlepods.

Damn LEGO. The GWP Shuttlepod is only available from 11/28-12/01. The FOMO is real.

Picard should also have his flute, but I guess you could easily substitute other LEGO flutes. What they REALLY shouldve added is a LEGO batleth so Worf can bring honor to his house*

I feel like Pulaski gets unfairly hated but this made me chuckle. I absolutely HATED her when she first appeared but she definitely grew as a character. I still like Crusher better though.

that Aquarium looks beautiful
Just checked the Upcoming sets page and it's like 90% licensed nonsense, a lot of it tied in to Minecraft. I hate that they're retiring a bunch of cool sets in favor of that :(

They keep releasing expensive sets, and people keep buying them so it seems to be working.

And it's about 11 cents a brick so it's not like the price per piece has soared, but more and more intricate.

I know of at least two other things called "the Black Pearl," those being a novel and a restaurant. Maybe they're trying to disambiguate?

Or maybe they're afraid people aren't going to remember the name of Captain Jack Sparrow's pirate ship. After all, the character became a way bigger part of pop culture.
