Topic title. I only have things that mix with normal but I've never had a pure one.

What say you CE?

Yeah. Snorlax is a beast in Kanto, and Johto has Tauros and even Ursaring super early in Crystal. All of them are crazy good.
I disposed of doubt long ago.
This will be a day long remembered.

Snorlax. Beast of a pokemon.
I believe in the Golden Rule and you should too!

I utterly adored Zangoose back in Ruby.

Had a Raticate on my main team back in the day.

Snorlax and Wigglytuff sometimes -- the former because he's a body-slamming badass and the latter because he's my fave. That said, I wouldn't mind playing GSC again and using Miltank.

Always? No. But ive done so several times yes. And Normal is also one of the monotype runs ive done for SoulSilver and 5 of the 6 were pure normal with Dodrio as the only exception.

Ive always been higher on Meowth and Persian than most seem to be and used them a lot in gen 1 and 2. Loved Zangoose for gen 3 and have used Linoone and Delcatty a few times as well. And Gen 5 has Stoutland which while im probably lower on than average ive still definitely used throughout.

D/P and X/Y are the only standout games to me where im unsure that ive finished with a pure normal type. Never finished Sun and dont remember my full teams in Shield.

not that I think of. the closest would have to be my first Gen 5 playthrough where I had Lillipup and its evos for most of the game but I didn't finish it. another playthrough I also did not finish had me pick up a Bouffalant because I love that mon to pieces.

though like i'd imagine most, it is rare that I play a Pokemon game and not use a normal/flying bird. (Gen 5 was the exception for this too of course.)
Born to lose, live to win!
I've done a few challenge-ish runs of Kanto and Johto recently where I've ended up with weird pokemon...
Kangaskhan, Clefable, and Dunsparce being a few examples.

Also yeah some genuinely strong ones in the past, like Snorlax.
What a fuddy duddy.

Yeah. Snorlax

Many Bothans died to bring you this post.
Snorlax in PokeRogue once, Exploud in Emerald.
Look, I can name a few instances in MY life where I tried to reach mutual understanding
and i can TELL you, always faster and easier to just kill em. Just is!
I had a Linoone on my Ruby team. Started as my HM slave but strangely enough turned into my favourite member of the team cause he was fast as fuck and oneshot most of the E4 somehow.

Other than that, usually no? I've had Snorlax and Miltank on my teams before though.
Corruption that you can believe in.

Once I caught the tutorial Lechonk in Scarlet, it never left my party. Oinkologne always got my back. I also used Zangoose in my last run of OR. Oh and Clefable in HG's postgame. And of course Smeargle is the funniest HM specialist, but you may or may not consider those to be a part of your team.
Hambo's alt.
I use Ambipom wherever available which is rare. Sinnoh games are the only times, really.
our sins return to the stars 'til the end of time
Yep, off the top of my head I've had Linoone and Exploud on my E4 teams in gen 3. Maybe Snorlax but I can't remember.
Currently playing: Nothing
Yes. Miltank
I use Clefable on some of my RBY teams and Tauros was on my most recent one.
Going through the Gen 1 and 2 games and used Ursaring in Gold.

Used Ambipom in Platinum, maybe in Alpha Sapphire, too. Unquestionably the best Pickup Pokemon.
Quite a few times... Loved Maushold in SV and Furfrou in XY

There was Snorlax, but Persian was also pretty busted in the RBY days (well, Blue more specifically, since Red and Yellow didn't have it without trading...)
I think I've had Snorlax and Slaking on my final teams. Other than that I'm not sure.
Are there even any GOOD mono Normal types in the latest gens?

Edit: After googling it there is a pure normal legendary released in the latest generation DLC campaign. But besides that, they're all garbage besides the Moushold line (and honestly they're only decent because they have a ridiculous signature move lol)

Two ridiculous signature moves... Tidy Up (clears hazards and raises Attack and Speed) and Population Bomb... Give it it's Hidden Ability, Technician and a Wide Lens and it can hit weirdly hard for being little cute mice...

Not in most games. But I'll have a Snorlax for early gens.
You felt your sins weighing on your neck.
Normal is my favorite type in the game, so I almost always have at least 2 pure normals by the time I become champion and get through the post game. If I could, I'd always have a Lopunny or a Delcatty. For gen 8 and 9, I have used Greedent from start to finish.
Jack! Jack! He's my psycho maniac! <3
Slaking, in both Emerald and Alpha Sapphire.

Someone I was playing against got tricked into Tracing its Truant ability. I decided I loved Slaking from then on, even if I haven't been able to recreate that scenario.

Now: Ghost of Yotei, Dragon Quest I & II HD2D, Wuthering Waves | Awaiting: Dragon Quest VII Reimagined
I remember having a Linoone in Alpha Sapphire who pulled a lot of weight.
Ghosts are cool.

I used Exploud in ORAS. It was awesome with Boomburst.
The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction has to make sense.
Snorlax, Slaking, togekiss before it became a fairy just to name a few.
Thank you for taking the time to read this sig.
This sig loves you.
Never since Gen 1.

Depending on how things go in ZA...

Might be a potential first one for mega-prospects due to how the game rolls.

Interesting. Normal is typically a type I ignore almost all the time unless paired with something else. I don't think I've ever had a final team with a normal type on it. Maybe Raticate when I was 8
