I quite enjoyed the extended look at the Midgar section of the story, which is
maybe
two hours, tops, in the original game. The more time that I get to spend with these characters, the better.
but the story is not really expanded much its mostly just bloat
take the trip to the 2nd reactor its now 3 dungeons and very little story content
the side quests are shallow and empty and dont really add anything
the only extra story content is a bit with jessie which amounts to NOTHING
the big issue is they keep the camera glued to cloud rather than flesh out the other party members away from cloud
and if they want to change the story CHANGE IT dont just do this middle of the road BS
actually change the story
