Yeah. I preferred Evil Dead 2 but Evil Dead wasn't bad. Army of Darkness is my favorite though and the Evil Dead series was a lot of fun to watch.

Probably my favorite horror series.

in slight fairness, officially, the 2013 one doesn't have a "The" at the start of the title

Heck, I even looked it up before making my comment and the results showed The Evil Dead 2013 for me. So, my bad on that, but still confused me, as I would have voted Yes instead of Never saw it.

they share (almost) the same title but it isnt a remake. closer to a sequel.
definitely in the same universe as the cabin is already broken into and Ash's car is there all rusted out etc
