Considering that even 6 extremely high level Conquerer's Haki/Devil Fruit attacks together barely seem to phase IMU who seems to mostly reform in seconds, it seems like the power of the Nika fruit is the only thing that could realistically stop him/her. Not sure how I feel about this myself (wanted others to at least be able to contribute to a potential fight with IMU in a meaningful way). And considering IMU is still alive and Joy Boy (original) isn't, I presume IMU may have defeated him, possibly personally, so defeating IMU still looks a long way off in the present.
But yeah, IMUs conversion power is ridiculously OP. Probably converted Harald with a flick of his/her wrist. Makes me wonder why IMU waited as many years as they did though to do this.
And yeah...as for the current Elbaph arc, considering how much stronger OG Joy Boy's haki is than Luffy's (end of Egghead), I presume Luffy won't beat IMU possessed Gunko one on one cleanly. Probably either Brook may be able to reach Gunko and end the possession (or weaken it enough Luffy can win) or the situation in the "Burning Holy Land" forces IMU to direct their attentions elsewhere.

We all assumed Dragon has some Weather/Storm fruit considering how Luffy was saved from execution in Loguetown. Granted, this has never been confirmed, so who knows if he even has one.
