This is the first time Im hearing of this. It looks awesome!
I caved and bought it, it was pretty good but there wasnt much gameplay. Im wondering how im ever gonna level my guys up if theres only one dispatch an episodeThis is something I've been wondering about too. I wonder if the system is actually a fakeout? Like, midway through things will get shaken up or something.
It's more of an interactive show than a game, right? Like they removed the walking/puzzles that Telltale games had.
And aside from the first work day I think there's going to be two Dispatches a day. Chapter 3 had the chaos shift and then a better, normal shift. Chapter 4 had the first shift with whoever you cut followed by the first shift with whoever you added."We need to fire someone to motivate the rest," is awful logic, too.Fire
Has anyone tried getting a really high score on the Dispatches to see if that doesn't prevent you from having to fire someone? I kind of doubt it, but I disliked it when i had a literally perfect first shift and then Chase told me they're all a bunch of fuck ups and "That's the best we can hope for." Like dude. They completed every job flawlessly.
Whats with the queerbaiting in this game? Stop giving me false hope that I can actually romance Phenomaman
Very good episodes. From Flambae singing, to the bar fight, to the house party, episode 6 having some of the most stress inducing Dispatch segment, andWhat are you on about, there were loads of villains there.Chase giving his life to save Invisigal.Anywayshow much you bet that Royd is the "mole"? He was very quiet during the party and when Invisigal and Chase were fighting. He's also the only one that asked about the Astral Pulse (and one of the few ones that could make it). It's just a theory that doesn't have a lot of merit, but there's definately a mole, otherwise Shroud wouldn't know about it.
I think Invisigalhad the Astral pulse and was the one trying to sell it. When the suit blew up, she claimed to have seen that same type of explosion. Then they tracked the Astral Pulse with from the info she gave them. But how would she have seen those explosions if she wasn't there? Also, if you fail to hack the safe, she opens it anyway and brushes it off like nothing happened. Either Shroud opened it remotely, or she had the combo, but it's suggested that Shroud had no idea the Astral Pulse still existed until then. So, it all lands back at her feet again.
And yeah, I get it, she's the most obvious one to suspect as a traitor, but it all seems to line up. I think the bar scene and how you deal with the team after finally changed her mind.
Yep. She actually interrupts you hacking it, and it goes like:
Visi: "Forget it, it's open."
Robert: "What? How!?"
Visi: "I don't know, who cares? Its open, that's what matters right?"
Then it plays out the same after that with her checking the case and leaving.
Yeah it did bother me that the whole point of the phonix program is to reform people and BB goes,I like how the choice of Chapter 3 has completely pointless reverberations throughout the plot. It's a dumb idea to cast out a hero whose genuinely trying their best (especially when, if you get good at the Dispatching, then they've done a really good job actually). It's used to justify cutting Visi even though there's no point to doing that and it's not like Visi even did anything horrible. And then, icing on the cake, BB acts like it was nothing personal and we can just hire them back after doing grade a supervillain shit. What was even the point of the choice then???
That was excellent, really enjoyed those last two eps. Only real criticism is that it did seem like most choices didn't really matter much, so I guess that's a habit these ex-Telltale devs are continuing at AdHoc lol. But I greatly enjoyed the story, I really hope for a season 2. And now that all the eps are out I'll buy the game and play it myself. 8/10 experience. While I acknowledge it's impossible to do it on the same level: I feel like living in a post-BG3 world should have shown developers that having choices actually have consequences is not impossible and in fact creates a lot of fun permutations.
