Ive been playing it. Lots of fun, not sure if I'm playing it correctly but I'm understanding it more and more each run. I love that even if you have a bad run, you'll progress because of the base back above ground. Great game to play while listening to a podcast or something.Yeah it seems the base will definitely play a lot on progress. I've just started and it feels pretty brutal ATM lol. Can only get like 2 levels before I die. Gonna definitely ram my head into this a lot
You get exponentially stronger pretty quick. I bet you'll be steamrolling at least with one character soonOkay I had my first extended run and it turns out I'm just an idiot lol. I was just going straight north south with my balls but the cooldown with needing to wait for the balls to come back is not worth it. It's better to get side to side bounces and hit a lot of things.
New roguelite. It's like...Tetris x block breakers (IDK what the original game was called) with rogue life elements and base building. Only $15 on PSN IDK about anywhere else.
What about Ball x Cup? Mexico's favorite toy for over 340 years. Toss the ball, catch it in the cup, dump it out of the cup, toss it, and catch it in the cup again.I prefer Corn x Cup tbh
Any other amazing early game evos or fusions?Magma is fantastic
Yeah this game is a serious time sink. You start it and it suddenly becomes dark at night. I recently unlocked all the characters. They all completely change how you play the game. The last one regrettably is kinda lame, but aside from him, the last 7 or so are all peakIndeed. Love the gimmicks and how they can intertwine. I don't get what upgrading the building that unlocks duos does tho...
Indeed. Love the gimmicks and how they can intertwine. I don't get what upgrading the building that unlocks duos does tho...I can't open the game right now, but I think it lets your duo start off with a higher lvl for their base ball
I also have no idea what the block breaker game was originally called.Breakout
I can't open the game right now, but I think it lets your duo start off with a higher lvl for their base ballYeah that seems to be it. Thank you!
They literally have a character that makes the game turn based lmao. He's one of my favorites. Though occasionally it's impossible to dodge some attacks with him lmao
He's one of my favorites. Though occasionally it's impossible to dodge some attacks with him lmaoYeah the Juggler. I actually have everyone except the last unit unlocked now. Need hella money cuz I also finally unlocked the buildings that give extra balls/passives/level up choices.
Also that means you unlocked theJester looking guy. He's probably OP. I can't even imagine losing with him
Ok protip cuz I just had this happen. I dunno if this is a Tactician exclusive problem, but if you fuse anything that doesn't pop up in 3 seconds like The Bomb and fuse it onto a field wide AOE, you lose DPS. It does not work with stuff like the FlickerYeah Tactician is a bit finicky. I've mainly been using him with Radical for some afk runs just to get Tac leveled and get some level clears.
I just wanted to see if it'll do a field wide bombing, but it just makes your AOE come out far slower and also only bombs whatever it hits rather than the whole field lol. It's basically unusable
My only tip is DO NOT use the upgrade that allows balls to go through the bricks. All the balls will get stuck in the back row and you will die.I remember picking that early on and was fast on the nope lol. Even Shade (character who's balls come from the back) is one of my least used because I can't get a hang of the aim for it
Yeah the pierce til the back hit upgrade is only good if you're confident in your build. Sometimes it can be your best upgrade.Yeah the second to last stage I was walled for a bit until I started building my base more.
If you got the Ninja for instance, it's just free dmg bonus
Also the game has always been a bit easy, but the late game stuff can actually start kicking your ass to the point where I started taking some defensive passive
Yeah there's a small gap in the early part where it's slow, and then you'll find it too fast lmao. They definitely could've moved a couple of the later buildings up a bitIndeed.
Just put the game on 3x speed and never look back and just learn to dodge well, since everything is pretty dodgeable.
Also you might not mind putting on the player hitbox dot. It looks goofy but I think it's a good QoL later on.
