I knew a guy who made plans once and he died.

Maybe they made plans to die

Who died?
Unless they killed themselves. Then they probably didn't.

Let that be a lesson not to die unless you don't have any plans the next day.

i had to wait all damn day for a package containing Tuna Cans, Peanut Butter, Refried Beans and rare bodywash that safeway didn't stock.

it said noon to 4:30pm. i wanted to rest because i didn't sleep enough the night before. i had to stay up waiting for the damn thing. did sleep last night and got 9 hours (3 + 6 more) so should be fine today.

did save money on the beans (safeway charges 2$ per can, only paid 1.25$ each).

Their plan for today was to spend it not existing.

I don't have any plans for tomorrow so at least I'm safe tonight.
Power don't come from a badge or a gun. Power comes from lying. Lying big and gettin' the whole world to play along with you.
Does work count as plans? Because I gotta work tomorrow.
It honestly does. Thanks for the reminder.

What if theyre lazy and/or a procrastinator? Or they were, rather.
A procrastinator almost exclusively has plans for tomorrow.

Interestingly, at the prison I worked at we would kind of use this idea to see if an offender was suicidal or not. Kind of see if they had long term plans for the future or not, or if they only spoke in the present. It didnt always work but it could be a sign.
Anyone who has ever made plans has a 100% chance to DIE

And that's why I'm the joker baby
You've buttered your last biscuit, pardner.
I often think any how people who died in the past don't know about major news of today.
How quaint.
I occasionally get in my head about this but it is always in the context of media. Like there is typically some media in the near future that I'm looking forward to and there is an inherent assumption that I'll get to see it. Then randomly I'll have a realization that someday that assumption won't be true and there will be some game/movie/TV show that I will know about but won't experience.

That's one of the more common warning signs in general, not just in prisons.

That and suddenly giving away personal items.

I suppose thats true, we just dealt with a lot of suicide so that kind of clicked something in my weird brain lol.
